TLDR: paid $500 for the Potenza + Juvelook at Meifill Clinic. Excluding the wait time for numbing, the actual procedure only took 5 mins. Is it supposed to be this quick?

Hi all! I was looking to get some skincare treatments done during my stay in Korea. I have acne-prone skin with large pores and hyperpigmentation. After doing some research, I decided to go with the Potenza + Juvelook combo procedure at Meifill Clinic (recommended on UNNI app).

They offered two options: 550,000 Won for the cheeks area or 770,000 Won for full face (Juvelook). I decided to go with the later one. That is like 516 USD. A high price but I’m willing to do anything for my skin at this point lol.

I paid in advance. They took me to get my face washed (since I had sunscreen on), and then applied the numbing cream on my face. I waited for about 30 mins before they took me to the room.

They put this metal plate on my tummy under my shirts. The guy wiped the numbing cream off and started with the micro-needling. He said he would do Juvelook first then Potenza.

I was expecting some pain based on what I had read on the internet. I have had some non-invasive skincare done before which was so painful that I teared up (lol), but I did not feel a single thing with this micro-needling for the first minute. The next minute, I guess the numbing effect kinda went away, I started feeling some prickling on my face, but that was it, absolutely no pain.

The whole thing was done in 2-3 mins. I was so surprised. I didn’t even know when the Potenza procedure started. They applied the mask, and I was out of the room within 5 mins.

Can anyone share your experience? Is it normal for this procedure to be done this quick? I just hope I got what I paid for.
