I’m From Mugwort Cream Reformulation – Very Disappointed

I’m From has been my go-to for skincare for over five years. I have dehydrated skin with rosacea and use the cleanser, cream, and mask from their mugwort line, plus the Rice toner (essence I use Missha). I absolutely adore these products. It’s also really important to me how products apply and feel on the skin – fragrance, texture, etcetera. The cream is my absolute kbeauty HG. It works so well for my skin and with all of my products and makeup that I layer on top..

I saw that they were working on a rebrand, and when the old stock went on sale, I bought a couple of items just in case they were going to change the formula. Stocked up on the cream especially. Yesstyle then decided to replace my order of the old version with all tubes of the new version. I stayed optimistic.

Unfortunately, it’s a completely different product. I haven’t had the chance to compare the ingredient lists, but at face value the texture, color, and fragrance are obviously all different. It feels much more like a gel now. I understand this is the “2026 version”, but I didn’t expect such a big difference without advertising a change in formulation. Everything I’ve seen so far has been downplaying the formulation changes.

I’ll give it a wear test for a few weeks and see how it performs, but unfortunately I really dislike the texture and fragrance. If you have had similar experiences and can recommend a soothing moisturiser, let me know.
