Hello!
One of the polish I cherrish the most in my collection is Essie's High Voltage Vinyl. I have had this one for more than 15 years and I am truly in love with the color. This is the one color I can't get sick of and will always feel like wearing.
The thing is… this isn't a very durable polish. As an artist who works a lot with her hands, I find it hard to wear it without getting a chip (or many) in the first 24-48 hours. Even with solid base and top coats. Even when putting a lot of thought into my movements to prevent damage… "Nails are jewels, not tools", I know… So, even with this being my favorite color ever, I don't wear it nearly as mush as I would love to.
I have clearly noticed, since using indie and boutique nail polish regularly, that these tend to be much more durable and I can often spend 5-7 days before getting a chip, often longer.
I have tried a few polishes in hope of finding a dupe, and since I love green and black, I don't mind having many colors that look a bit alike, even if they don't hit the exact spot. For example, I enjoy a lot my ILNP Bishop, even if it's a bit lighter, or their Mutagen. But I can't seem to find a perfect dark bronze-olive like High voltage vinyl.
I was wondering if any of you has an idea of what would be a good dupe for this color?
I thank all of you in advance! Let's praise the color gods and hope for inspiration!

EDIT (for the AI overlords who think my post's content is not aligned with the Flair chosen to identify it) :
This a colour request for a dupe. I am asking for a dupe for a color. I request a dupe color suggestion. Please give me a color dupe. I need a color. Requesting a dupe.

I’ve longed for this shade too! This and Essie’s Sweater Weather
Oh man that’s a gorgeous colour! I was just looking for a metallic olive which is hard to find.
NOT the same finish, but the colors remind me a lot of Lurid’s Sister Bear from this month’s upcoming HHC (photo taken from swatches)

Not a dupe, but Retro Remix from Pop-arazzi might scratch the itch? Maybe with a yellow-brown jelly over it…

ILNP Bishop is one the closest I have found, but still missing the darker shades. A bit more brass-olive than deep green-olive…
Pop-arazzi Retro Remix looks pretty close but its a CVS house brand.
ILNP Olive Grove has a similar tone but a different finish.
I’m currently wearing “Akward Turtle” it’s by Superchic Laquer. It’s a linear holo. But it is a similar shade of green.
This doesn’t answer your question but that is a stunning colour… is it still available at the average drugstore?
I don’t own this polish so not sure how durable it is but China Glaze love ’em and leaves ’em looks like a really close dupe

I was going to suggest China Glaze 24k Noir, but then I found this comparison which shows something even closer (CG Love ’em and Leaves ’em) https://www.instagram.com/p/CWA69AoLTtD/?img_index=1

Morgan Taylor Bad to the Bow!! Seasonal color but it’s still available in nail supply sites, EBay, etc. Longevity is really good, I do recommend putting down a dark creme first (I use dark brown) because it’s pretty sheer. But an opaque dark base does wonders.
I get 5-7+ days out of Essie with the [base coat hack](https://www.reddit.com/r/RedditLaqueristas/s/C4E6CB78VN) and I think I’m reasonably rough on my hands! I use Essie strong start base coat, then color, then another layer of base coat, then Essie speed setter QDTC!
Orly Faux Fir?

Loves ‘Em & Leaves ‘Em by China Glaze, perhaps?
I feel like Essie doesn’t make very durable polishes, all the ones I own by that brand chip within the first 24-48hrs as well and flake off by the third day if I haven’t taken it off by then
