My first ever indie polish order just arrived and I literally cannot believe how well this came out! At least in my left hand, my right is another story. Thank you everyone for the tips and tricks!
On all fingers:
1x Bkind base coat before colour
1x Bkind base coast after colour
1x Sally Hansen red bottle
All magnetized with a random rod magnet that I drew little circles around each nail with. I magnetized both coats of the colour. I saw a tip on here earlier today that using a layer of base coat on top of your colour/under your top coat meant you didn't need to remangatize the top coat and it totally worked! At least on my left hand, my right hand didn't magnetize as well but I'm assuming that's just user error and that I'll have to practice working with my non-dominant hand.

Very nice!! I was literally about to magnetize my top coat but this base coat tip is intriguing me…I’m doing velvet with a horseshoe magnet using Sassy Sauce’s Fierce Mojo.

To clarify, are you saying after the second coat of the magnetic color, you put on the base coat but do NOT have to magnetize that, OR the top coat that follows?
