I’m looking for a cream that works for oily, acne-prone skin. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi, I have sensitive oily acne-prone skin. I think my skin barrier is damaged from years using different stuff (topical tretinoin, benzoyl peroxide, Clindamycin, Adapalene) whenever my acne flares up (horribly so, with nodules and cysts). And I think it’s damaged because I get red spots, products that didn’t burn before (benzoyl peroxide) now burns me even if I use a little, my skin has shine and oil but my cheeks feel kinda tight and around my mouth it’s a bit flakey.
So I want to ask if this routine is good to fix my damaged skin barrier:
AM:
Wash face with water only
Isntree – Green Tea Fresh Toner
Purito SEOUL – Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream
House of Hur – Weightless Sun Fluid
PM:
SKIN1004 – Madagascar Centella Hyalu-cica Gentle Cleansing Milk (if I use makeup)
Kisocare – Amino Washing Form
Isntree – Green Tea Fresh Toner
Haruharu Wonder – Black Rice 5 Ceramide Barrier Moisturizing Cream
Purito SEOUL – Mighty Bamboo Panthenol Cream
I also heard mineral sunscreens are a better option for damaged skin barrier but I just love the House of Hur one. It doesn’t sting, doesn’t burn, leaves a matte finish on the skin.
Please if you have any recommendations or suggestions for my routine, I want to read it.
