Because you’ve probably seen ads from brands with influencers in them, trying their products, but they weren’t originally made as product reviews or sponsored.
So even though it says not sponsored, many people are hoping a brand will offer to license that content.

Creators put « non-sponsored » because otherwise the audience assume the video was sponsored but the creator just didn’t disclose it if it’s overly centered around a product / very positive.
