Update: will be trying a different brand of press ons 🙏🏼

I’ve been wearing these press on nails for the longest and IDK IF THEY FIT ME OR NOT.

I like the idea of French tips, but I feel like the pink is TOO pink and doesn’t fit my skin tone (specially now that I’ve been self tanning)… are French tips supposed to be this pink? Or am I just in my head and they look fine?…

They don’t look good… I think it’s less about the shade of pink and more about how it fits on your nailbed. Like the “root” of thr press on is too artificial and square looking. It looks plasticky overall and it’s even chipping on the thumb…

The pink is fine, the base is too big for your nail bed. I think it will looo great if you get ones that fit your nail bed a little better

    3. I second the suggestion to try another brand

      Glamnetic
      Celebritips
      Nail Reformation
      Vsalon

These brands are my tried and true – they fit well, and don’t look thin and plastic-y.

Another thing I would suggest is applying them at a 45 degree angle and slide them just under the cuticle, then bring the tip down to lie flat on your nail.

Also you could size down on at least a few of those nails. Press on nails should not hang over past your natural nail onto your finger. Proper sizing is everything.

Your hands are gorgeous though, you’ll find some that fit well and you’ll be like “oooohhhh that’s what’s up”

They definitely look like cheap press-ons. I know the press-on blindness runs strong lol

Lots of good advice already, but wanted to add that you can file press-ons so that the shape at the cuticle fits you better

I like the pink color… when they’re more nude they appears dead and lifeless in my opinion. I also really like the shape and French on you ((:

I feel like this has already been answered so all im goona say is prep is EVERYTHING if you want to join the press on claw world. And I just know these dont feel good. Its making my fingers tingle just imagining how these feel if they look like that. So go down the prep rabbit hole and please come back when you’ve done a little research and let us know how much better they look and feel. Your going to have the most satisfying light bulb go off when you have a successful application. Good luck!

I don’t think they’re terrible. A little big on the nail bed but the shape and length are good. I think your pointer finger fits better than your ring finger as an example, though.

I use press ons a lot – you need to choose a size that’s slightly smaller than your nail bed

      I like Kiss and Glamnetic.

Also, maybe try a size down? If not, definitely file the cuticle areas to shape them better. I think the pink is a little too pink for you, but it’s a classic French color so I wouldn’t say it looks terrible.

When I apply mine, I put a light layer of glue all over my nail (avoiding the cuticles) and a good dab at the cuticle base of the press-on. I angle the press-on to about 45 degrees right at the cuticle base, and then slowly lay down. Don’t press too hard and you won’t press glue out and get bubbles.

Photo is the set I have on now, done very late at night so my very short and busted nails wouldn’t look horrendous for work 😂
