I recently got my soft French nails done, but the old baseline was still visible, so I asked the tech to redo them. Unfortunately, after the redo, they ended up looking fully pink instead of the soft French look I wanted. My toes were also bulky and flooded. I’ve been to this salon three times, and although it’s pricey, I always felt it was worth it because it’s a Russian manicure salon and I usually love their work.

Since I was unhappy with the final result, I asked for a partial refund. In my message, I made it clear that I really like the salon and appreciated the tech’s effort, but I simply didn’t like how my nails turned out this time, especially for $230. They were accommodating, but said they were going to deal with the tech. I told them she was sweet and that I understood she was new, but the owner responded that she “not new,” and implied that if she were actually new, they would have told me.

Now I feel bad because she was so kind, and I really hope she doesn’t get fired.

    That sucks, I’m sorry. They shouldn’t have told you that imo. But you did the right thing, that work was not good especially for $200!
