I just saw this on Instagram. The hypocrasy of posting AI on Earth Day is so upsetting. On top of the fact that they are not adressing the comments about it and doubling down on how they recycle bottles. AI is so bad for the environment, how could they post something like this??
This also made me especially upset as a designer who was laid off in December and can't find another job. There is a possibility that Zoya laid off people who could actually creat good content all so that a non-designer could just use AI. OR they are making their designers use AI instead of letting them design (which was the case at my old job before the lay-off). Zoya isn't a one-person indie brand, they can afford to pay a swatcher or a designer for content. It's not just Zoya, but I am so tired of this. No one wants this.

Well I guess Zoya gets added on to the list of Polish I don’t need my collection. On fucking Earth Day.
How could you tell the——-lol nevermind. BOOOOOOOOHISS
This is so disappointing. I’m replying to their Earth Day email to let them know this doesn’t sit well with their customer base, and I encourage others to comment/email and do the same so that they know it’s noticed and perceived negatively.
I can live without their polish, but I’ll be looking to try an acetone additive once I’m done with their remover. The Baroness X ones always catch my eye but I’m not sure if I want a scented option. I think @eviltwinnails made a tutorial on making your own with glycerin?
What should I be looking for to see if it’s AI or not?
