magnetics are everything to me, because my crow brain is only able to find peace when i can dance my ultra-shifty fingers around. i struggle with anything described as "neutral" or "elegant," and i haven't worn a cream in decades. i just need ~all of the visual stimulation~. i want my polishes to shapeshift before my eyes. i want to feel like i'm wearing 15 (or so) shades at once.
HOWEVER, i too am human, and i don't always have the time/energy for a full magnetic mani. i want everyone's suggestions for low-effort high-reward shimmers. dopamine nails that i can still do when i'm depressed. i want to look at a polish and think maybe they dumped that pigment in the batch on accident and just rolled with it.
pictured are: fauve – hallucinate; holo taco – spirit fingers and cool ranch; mooncat – earth to gaia.
tbh spirit fingers is the polish of my DREAMS and since it's so elusive, i'm doing everything i can to scratch the itch! multichromes are often too predictable lol, and i've been gaining a new appreciation for shimmers. help me get 15 (or so) shades at once in one bottle and like 30 minutes. x

Alchemy – Haunted Thicket and Shard, Cosmic Polish – Orion’s Call and Dancing Shadows, Emily De Molly Key Drama and Code Mistake are my faves!
i had [opi’s pixel dust](https://www.opi.com/products/nail-lacquer-pixel-dust) on my nails a few manis ago and i *could not stop looking at them,* it was mesmerizing! i did use a couple coats of opi nail envy in bubble bath as a base coat, but i think if i had used a regular clear base coat i would have just had to do 3-4 layers instead of 2 to get it as opaque as i wanted.
Haunted Polish – Crystal Fang is gorgeous!! A nice grey with super strong pink shimmer, it looks just as good in their pictures, maybe even better!
I will never not suggest cupcake polish’s la lluvia
