This is probably my least favorite manicure I’ve ever gotten. It was at a high-end” salon too. Technician recommended me a color which I had liked since I was leaning towards a pinkish tone, and told me she’d apply 3 coats since it was a bit light. The second I heard 3 I knew I wasn’t gonna get a clean one.

I have a very clean manicure right now with three coats. The issue isn’t the number of coats, it’s that she has bad technique.
There’s gel on your cuticles and side walls (yikes), there’s lumps, and the nails don’t seem to be filed evenly.
Perhaps talk to the manager of the shop where you had them done and see if they would be willing to redo them?
Your cuticles have flooded. These will lift within a week.
Oh that’s bad. Like a child did it. Clumpy, not clean. I’m sorry!
Oh no I’m sorry those are quite bad
the colour is gorgeous it’s such a shame they are so badly done, so sorry OP 😔 it honestly looks like a first try 🤦♀️
another commenter says speak to the manager and see if they will redo them which is honestly the best advice 🙏 good luck ✨
Did you ask for encapsulated lint as nail art? (I’m being sarcastic, these are bad, I’m sorry 😞)
There’s no reason why the manager should not take care of this for you. Money back or another tech redoes them. I would not take no for an answer. I had a bad dip powder experience when my tech was out of the country. I went to the same salon and found out she was not there so I asked for someone that did dip really well. The next day they all had little hair line cracks in them. I went back to the shop and told them I needed them redone. That confused most of the techs in the shop even though they all saw the cracks. I ended up having to raise my voice a little to get their attention so they called the owner in. He took one look, apologized, and instructed them to redo them. I was not going to leave with anything but them redoing them. They don’t like other customers to see someone is unhappy with their nails. Your problem is worse than mine. They flooded your cuticles, not to mention the uneven surface, and you could develop an allergic reaction to the product and it can last a lifetime. I would go back as soon as possible. Good luck!
The cuticle flooding is terrible. This can cause very bad lifting issues, and can also cause you to develop allergic reactions due to over exposure of the nail products touching the skin. Colour is nice, and suits you, but I’d have a look for a more skilled tech in future, if you don’t want lifelong allergies!
I’ve seen worse but it’s not good and you shouldn’t have paid for it 😞
That looks like I did it (derogatory)
It looks like it was done by a ten year old
I’d have that picked off before I even got home
I wouldn’t have left with them like that. I’d go back and ask them to redo them. Very sloppy work.
Probably a new nail tech, you gotta start somewhere 😂
