I have to thank you wonderful souls for helping me out the other day. I posted about how I kept getting bubbles in my polish and was very frustrated by this! So, I offer a before and after of how my skills have already improved!

The first pic is basically what my nails always did… second pic I was actually able to do stuff with my hands in less than 20 minutes! It’s a vibe.

Major tips that helped were using thinner coats of paint, adding a thinner to my thick paints because they were struggling, and making sure I didn’t flood my nail beds so bad. I still don’t have the most steady hand, but I’m happy with the results, so thank you all so much!!!

The first photo was:

1x base coat OPI Start to Finish

2x LynBDesign’s Pastiche

1x OPI Top Coat

The second photo:

1x base perfect speedy dry Nails Inc London

1x Essie’s Off Tropic

2x Mooncat’s Weeping Willow

1x Sally Hansen Insta Dri top coat w/ black lid

Ah I feel the shaky hand problem!!! Get an eyeliner brush and dip it in remover after you paint. It cleans everything up nice and tidy!!

I think for sure the other biggest thing I had to learn is to be patient with the color. It’s ok for the first thin coat to look like garbage. Have faith that the third one won’t 💜
