I have a co-worker who loves getting ideas from my manicures for his granddaughters. He especially loves my magnetic manis and thinks his granddaughters would go crazy for them. When he saw these he gasped and said they looked like jade. I was thinking glassy olive but I see it now!

I’ve been thinking of getting him a simple kit to use on his granddaughters — any ideas on what products are the most beginner user-friendly? I was thinking a magnetic wand, a couple of Cirque polishes, and a tuolene-free top cat.

Lastly, I got a tiny stress crack on my pointer finger last night. 😩 I repaired it with a silk wrap and builder gel (NailThoughts Clear Builder Base) and it looks/feels good as new!

5dprintshop makes a velvet effect tool that i recommend for kids or disabled folks as the standard 30lb pull horseshoe can be a real issue! a regular wand can be used to make the glass bead effect by spinner it in a windmill above the nail so i think that’s definitely a useful tool too. insta-dri in the red bottle by sally hansen is probably the cheapest and easiest to find to replace top coat wise. and i’d definitely include some (OPI) polish thinner as it saves sticky tricky magnetics and top coats!
