So I got cateye in a very bold pink colour (as you will see attached) and despite the nail tech doing an absolutely phenomenal job and this being entirely my fault cause why did i stay from my light pinks and reds – i just hate hate hate the colour i selected. it looks so bold on me; especially considering the fact i work in the legal field and everyone seems to dress more corporate (and boring) in turn. I don’t know if i should just wait it out or get them re-done to something more neutral. How do you guys wait out this period typically?

  1. I’d be less worried about the colour and more about the way these have been sculpted. You have such tiny nail beds. These are an accident waiting to happen. Do you always wear this length?

Also in the legal field. I get bored quickly and was doing a lot of branching out of my comfort zone last winter. Color/polish changes every 1.5/2wks between fills is how I eased my way into new colors.

In the future when trying out new colors, start with an accent nail. Add some nail art to it if your first reaction is “I made a mistake”

Well OP I think the color is a nice contrast. However, you can either add some embroidered designs or just swap out the color

  4. 1). I don’t think that color looks “wild” or bold at all. Although I usually have 2-3 colors in my nails at a time, so I may be blinded. Haha I love the color. Looks very normal/professional.

    2) I do sometimes end up with colors I hate. I just wait it out. It’s too expensive to “fix.”

I would be more worried about having all this length and little to no apex. This is an accident waiting to happen. 😬

The color is very pretty for this time of year though!

  6. I think they look pretty professional to me it’s not like bright red it’s a really pretty pink it’s soft I could see that going well with a suit.

lately i haven’t been doing anything, even if something bothers me, because it ends up being twice the work and doesn’t always turn out good.

If I don’t like the color, I wait until my next appointment and get a new color. It’s just not that serious to me.
