I never usually wear nails but my sister insists I get acrylics for the first time as it’s Easter and we had a big family gathering (my family are catholic)
Do you think the nails are too long cus my grandparents seem to think they are too long and I don’t know if they’re right or not?

I don’t know why you should bother with the opinions of other people when it comes to the length of your own nails. They’re too long if you’re uncomfortable and struggling to function.
Most people here would class these as short lol.
They are pretty, it’s a gorgeous colour and as you aren’t used to wearing acrylics it’s a really practical length for you.

As someone who doesn’t like long nails I think these are perfect and definitely not too long

That’s a pretty normal length, that some can even maintain with natural nails. The color and shape fits very well with your hand shape and skin tone, and they have a nice fresh spring / Easter time vibe 👌
PS: (Light) blue has also a special meaning in Catholicism, it’s associated with Virgin Mary, and in general in Christianity and other religions and cultures it tends to have a special meaning, it being the colour of the sky with all its beautiful and deep associations.
Your grandparents are being grandparents. All skirts will be too short, all nails will be too long, no boy will be good enough for you.
It’s love & different taste from a different generation 😉
