The last time I did a full magnetic manicure, it took 2 hours and I didn't think I'd want to sit and do another one ever again. This time, I first applied my base coats to all nails, then set a 5-minute timer for each individual nail. This cat-eye mani was done in just under an hour. Is this a pretty normal timeframe when using only one magnet?
Base: Nailtiques Formula 2; KB Shimmer Stay Put Hydrating Base
Polish: 1x Jen & Berries The Beacons Are Lit! (unmagnetized); 1x TBAL! with finger over wand magnet for 2 minutes
Top coat: 1x DRK Magic Effect with finger over magnet for 1 minute; G&G Clear, Shiny and Fast Drying with finger over magnet for 2 minutes
I was unsure about the scattered red glitter at first, but now I really like it. I would love a version of TBAL! with pink or teal glitter. The champagne magnetic particles look like satin, really bright and eye-catching.
