Hello, this is my first time posting here so sorry if I’m not doing this correctly. I’m a not very successful artist looking for a new side gig and thought painting press ons could be fun. Of course it is more difficult that I anticipated, my giant digital tablet is easier to paint on than a literal thumbnail, but I want to get better.
This is my first batch that I’m actually proud of, themed after the state of Maine, but they are still choppy. When do you know that you’ve reach professional quality? How do you guys get your paint strokes so smooth?? And lastly, would it be silly to try to sell these with their rough quality, or could someone out there actually enjoy them?
I’m gonna keep practicing cause I am enjoying this but I hope I could get something more out of this new hobby.
Thanks for any advice
