I used to work at Sephora after my contract job in comms expired. I bought the Cay Skin sunscreen stick back then, and the Clean Sparkling Sugar perfume was part of gratis. I now have a desk job and am glad to be off my feet throughout the workday, though I am glad that I gained the experiences I did in retail ☺️
If the Cay sunscreen had a higher SPF (it has SPF 35), I would definitely repurchase; it was a clear formula that went on so thin and melted into the skin well. Not sure how folks with oily skin or prefer matte looks would like this, but this dry skin girly who loves dewy makeup adored it until the bottom popped off and fell on my morning commute 🥲
Sparkling Sugar wasn’t my absolute favorite. It’s a sharp scent that reminds me of cranberry sauce (maybe it’s the cassis berries combined with peach nectar that reminds me of cranberries and oranges?). I liked it during the holiday season, but I wouldn’t repurchase.
All in all, it’s definitely bittersweet finishing products that served me well in a different part of my life. Onwards and upwards! 💛
