I bought "She is gone and I long to follow" magnetic from BKL. That is a fine particle magnetic, and I wanted to try one before I buy more. This is also my first time trying BKL. Now their next collection of these magnetics is coming up and basically every one of those is tempting to me🥲. BUT that earlier order won't get to me before the next collections pre order ends:/ Sooo do I just skip those? (Hypnotic polish site says they'll start shipping mid to late April + It'll be at least 1.5 weeks in the mail to me, so I am 100% sure of this)

For context, I will only buy ten polishes this year so I want to be 100% sure I'll love a shade before I buy any🙈. Does BKL re-release polishes usually? Is it likely they'll come up with something similar later anyway, and I should skip this release to see if I like the one I bought? I know this is not really serious, but I'm bummed that I had such bad luck with this😅.

Also here is a pic of my current mani because I want to show it off😂 It's Holo Taco's Shady navy + Aurora and cosmic unicorn skins on top.

The longer I’ve been aware of BKL, the more I’ve seen them repeat their own colours – if not exact dupes, then something very similar. Also, the fine particle magnetics are finicky, so if you haven’t had a chance to try them yet, I’d advise waiting, or only placing a very small order.
The longer I’ve followed BKL the less FOMO I’ve had and the more faith that if I like something but don’t buy it, another chance will come. Either through a similar colour or, if the colour was popular enough, a re-release or overpours in the Vault.

The fine particle magnetics seem to be fan favorites! I’ve only tried one- give me my agony and honestly, they’re not for me! I much prefer more shimmery/other magnetics. It’s truly personal preference! But yes, BKL dupe themselves quite often with similar shades but don’t often release the exact same shade twice
