apologies for the bad lighting lol but I just cracked my romand nu zero cushion to see this. it was unopened up till this point but it’s expiring next month.
I poked into it with a tissue and the orangey texture dissipated some, I assume it’s oxidation but thought I’d ask just to be safe. does think look like mold to yall?

It doesn’t, but also if it’s expiring next month then I wouldn’t use it. It’s one thing to have a healthy cushion and keep it for years as that has your exact bacteria profile in it proliferating (also ew but can’t deny it was me when I was down bad); it’s another to be having a cushion that starts out w mold and go downhill from there. As someone now struggling with seborrheic dermatitis right on my eyebrows, I would caution you to the high heavens but I am also biased.
