
This is by far the most ambitious nail art I have ever attempted, but I am thrilled with how they turned out! Also, I am practicing editing videos to capture some of my manicures, and this is one of the more complicated videos I’ve made. I’m really pleased with it! Ultimately, I want to make a video that documents the process I used, but that that seems daunting, so for now, I just want to share the finished product with you!
I started with Mercury in Retrograde magnetized in the cat eye to achieve water effect. Then I used small sponges to dab colors around. Finally I used nail art markers and dotting tools to finish the design. I sealed it all with a water based top coat to avoid smudging the design. The product list is below:
