Mooncat Neptune’s Sand for me. It’s one of the first polishes I loved the look of when I got into indies (around a year ago.) I’m experimenting with colour but deep down, I know I’m all about the elevated neutrals.
I’ve given up on getting my mitts on it (I’m in the UK so destashed Mooncats are even harder to find) but I like to think one day it might pop up and in the meantime it’s kind of fun to have it stay elusive.

Austin Powers by Enchanted Polish. I had this in 2012 and although I am not a gold person, I absolutely adored it. I had Marge’s Blue Beehive too and destashed that one, but looking at photos regret that.
Nothing. There’s always something similar somewhere.
That holo taco magnetic topper. I haven’t found another version of it anywhere. I don’t wanna buy other magnetics cause I love to do designs and I know I won’t use them often enough to get my moneys worth, but I KNOW I’d use that. I was never able to get it because it sold out before I got a chance to buy it. That’s my only issue with holo taco, they do that FOMO marketing causes people like me to miss out. Ruins the excitement.
ETA: Thai you all for tour suggestions, I think I will be purchasing the cracked polish magnetic topper, it seems very similar to the holo taco topper for a larger bottle.
100% Bees Knees Lacquer Bog Dweller. I’ve managed to get most of the other polishes I’m desperate for, but Bog Dweller is such a unique green that has eluded me. I also missed out on the most recent Penelope Lutz launch and would give a part of my soul for Connections alongside Bog Dweller.
I always thought Chanel’s Jade was my “I’d pay anything” polish – until I saw a legit bottle appear on Vinted recently for £120. I didn’t even consider paying it, just closed the app
Prob if frogs had wings and prickly pear from mooncat
OPI Goldeneye. Although, I’d just prefer a solid dupe so I can stop rationing it!
Fair Maiden Luck Dragon.
I broke my bottle a few years ago and I’m still mad about it.
OPI An Affair in Red Square. It’s my partner’s favorite shade and he’s extremely particular about shades. I have probably five other polishes that look identical to me, but he can tell the difference every time.
Weirdly enough, probably any shade of those little bonbons brand nail polishes from when I was a kid. Granted, $5 would be a “mad” price for them considering they were like 75¢.
I freaking loved those things, and I’m so sad they’re gone.
OPI – Wine Me Dine Me. Or a good dupe. It was the color I picked for my first ever manicure at a salon. It’s been years since I’ve seen it, I might just be chasing a memory.
Mooncat’s Amuck! Amuck! Amuck! From the Hocus Pocus 2 collab. Why are the prettiest things LE? You can technically buy the whole collab box off of Ebay for $500 but I haven’t found it being sold as a single anywhere since it came out such a long time ago (4 y ago).
Chanel- holographic
Neptune’s sand was not at all that yellow/sandy for me fyi! Like not even close. It was way more rose-ish. I destashed it. Just in case that helps your fomo.
Edit: just attached the pictures I could find on my phone
Im lucky, I got mine already and not at a mad price.
For most things I’m a “similar vibe is good enough” person so I don’t stress too much about particular polishes. But for some reason I became super obsessed with OPI Germanicure. I didn’t think I would be able to dupe it myself either. I gave myself a cutoff of under $20 USD and it only took me maybe 2 weeks to find a bottle lol.
Maybe not *any* price, but Mooncat Nemesis. It’s my ultimate white whale, but I can’t justify spending $100+ on a bottle of polish.
Velaris by BKL. I didn’t then and I haven’t been able to find something like it. I want a deep, deep blue with reflective glitter.
I bought it happens by bkl on black friday and after using it on a swatch I apparently didn’t close the bottle correctly and knocked it over without realizing. Next day I notice and it ruined my carpet and is basically empty. It was my favorite of that black Friday order and I didn’t even use it on my own nails! Id purchase again in a heartbeat.
Not a specific polish, but metallic/pearlescant greens. I don’t see those often enough and the ones I do don’t have the right shade/formula of green I want.
