I was scrolling through my for you page when I saw a nail tech using Beetles on her dogs nails. She said it was all safe and her dog didnt mind at all. It was very concerning as ive read about all the allergic reactions in humans. Does anyone here do their dogs nails? I would assume if its not really safe for humans, its really not safe for dogs. It really concerned me as dogs chew their feet, and if anything id like to suggest her use something else. Shes a very small time influencer so i dont want to ruin her but i also dont want her dog to get sick. I know very little about nails at all, but ive read a lot about how dangerous Beetles can be and i would hate to see her dog get sick

That stuff is barely safe on humans so I’m going to go with no that is not safe

I’m no expert, but it doesn’t sound safe. Especially sticking gems on their claws seems like some kind of accident waiting to happen.

Absolutely not. If anything they should be painting those little nail caps that you can buy, not the nail itself.

I mean… If they keep it on the nails and off the skin (so no contact with living tissue) and cure it fully it should be fine unless the dog eats it but I don’t trust a dog not to eat it. The gems seem like they could fall off and get eaten, too

I just feel bad for the dog that has to walk around with unnecessarily long nails because that’s super uncomfortable and can even be painful for them just because the owner thought they’d look fashionable with nail polish and gems glued onto their nails. Which they’ll likely ingest when they chew on their feet. Which dogs do all the time. The nail salon is for humans, not dogs. This human is putting their pet through unnecessary pain just because they think it looks good.
