Hi! I got my nails done yesterday and when I went home I noticed my thumb had a matte part & I accidentally scraped off some gems on my middle finger. I have a gel top coat at home so I went over those nails and cured them w my sunuv lamp. I did the thumb yesterday and middle today but both are still glowing in the UV lamp. Does that mean they still aren’t cured?

They glow because of the uv resin that is the gel on your nails.
I would not be using gel if you don’t understand how UV lights work.
Firstly if the polish isn’t matte then it is supposed to reflect light, reflection of light doesn’t mean anything
Secondly if it’s matte top then it won’t reflect light like tht but it’ll obviously glow cause it’s UV light so it changes how the colour looks under the lamp
Hope it helps
Shiny top coats often reflect in the uv light it should be cured
Certain top coats glow under UV light, others don’t. So as long as you cured them for the instructed length of time, you’re fine! It’s just that your top coat happens to glow and the one they used at the salon doesn’t.
Some top coats glow and some don’t it’s of absolutely no consequence that yours does and theirs doesn’t!
