I have never been good at eyeshadow but I decided this year that I would finally master it and start doing it everyday. I bought this Viseart Neutral Mattes palette around Valentine’s Day for half off and I’m really surprised to be hitting pan already. I have NEVER hit pan before as I’ve never stuck with eyeshadow for very long! It’s such a great palette though, I use it 5x a week (and sometimes 7x!) for work. The shades are pigmented and blend out like an absolute dream.
I’ve been testing out eyeshadow primers so I’ve been using the same few shades daily (so that if a primer didn’t work well, I wouldn’t blame it on the shadow bc I knew the shadow worked well). I use the top row daily and the one on the far right in the middle row the most. I definitely want to dig into the greyish tones more for a smokier eye now that I’ve pretty much figured out my primer routine.
I use fluffy blending brushes on most of the shades but for this one that I hit pan in (there’s no shade names), I use a Sigma dense packing brush as it’s usually my all over lid color. I think the dense angle of the brush kinda “digs” into the pan more which is why I’ve barely made a dent in the other shades but hit pan in this one lol.
Also I tried to clean this up the best I could which is why some of the shades may look weird lol some of the eyeshadow dust transfers when I’m picking them up with my brush 😂
