Hey yall, so I just moved from Sydney (where getting my nails done cost me the equivalent of €30) to Ireland, where nails cost €75, being my broke self I can’t justify that, so instead I spent €90 on a dip powder system to do them myself (I’m on my second set so it’s already paid for itself) I used to do it years ago but haven’t in about 4 years. So I’m still getting used to it, aka I BEAT my cuticles up, I’m terrible at not overbuilding close to my cuticles and then struggle to file the build up down without irritating my cuticles / skin.
I know they’re not the best, this was also my first attempt at mixing two different colour powders, so any constructive criticism would be appreciated as I do want to prioritise my cuticle health so anyone with experience with plastic tips followed by a dip powder system if you have any tips I’d really appreciate it! I think I could’ve done worse but I always want to be better!
Slides 3 and 4 were the ONE AND ONLY set I got done in Ireland before deciding to do them myself, and those cost €75!!! Plus you can tell I like long nails so don’t even ASK how she managed to get that set so short, like yes I didn’t ask for them as long as my current neon set but I wanted them a lot longer than what I ended up with 😂 I swear she spent 40 minutes shaping and just took all the length with her.
Anyway! Thank yall in advance, I love crazy nails, I’m known for them and want to be able to continue doing them as healthily as possible, I’m also right handed so my right hand, at the will of my left hand was beat up a little more 🥴
