I have been looking for a good gel sunscreen that would not break me out. My skin type is oily, sensitive and acne prone and barely any sunscreen works for me. Currently im using this gel sunscreen from a local brand from my country and while it doesn’t break me out, it doesn’t have good sun protection either

These three sunscreens are the most famous gel ones so im just confused which one would work the best for me

Please note that i want to avoid niacinamide as it doesn’t seem to work for me

BOJ this version for oily skin is really good. I’ve tried all three you have shown here.

  2. Skin1004! I have combo skin and cannot live without it. Btw, I feel like the 50ml tube version is lighter texture than 100ml tube version. Personally I prefer lighter texture.

I have oily skin and I live in a hot, humid country with high UV exposure. I’ve only tried skin1004, and I personally don’t favour it at all.

Although it feels light and hydrating on the skin, it isn’t waterproof at all and washes away with water. Due to the dewy finish, combined with oily skin, I feel I look like a greaseball within 10 minutes of application😭. But maybe it might work well if you’re in a dry climate!

    1. Beauty of Josean, the one you’re holding is very light weighted. Not bad. I’m currently using the normal one because that one is cheaper. No break out for me so far.
    2. My main gel type sunscreen is Kose (blue tube) and it’s cheaper as it has more content per tube. Feels slightly heavier than Beauty of Josean when applying but seems to have better coverage. It cheaper too but currently out of stock because apparently they are changing the product.
    3. Cantella bases on the tested I tried, it seems very sticky so that’s a no for me.
