Got a small crack, tried to stabilize it with nail glue (hence the weird matte finish) and then it failed catastrophically while pulling on my boots. Your condolences would be appreciated in this trying time.
1 coat Cirque’s Firecracker, magnetized in velvet style with a 30-lb horseshoe magnet, 1 minute per nail. The crackle polish majorly dispersed the magnetic effect so I think next time I’d lock it in with a water-based topcoat or something to keep the velvet effect.
1 coat Orly’s Harry Potter collection Dark Arts black crackle polish (this one was gifted, rest assured I didn’t give any of my personal dollars to noted transphobe and black-mold-breather Joanne Rowling)
Topcoat is Essie Speedsetter, which I also magnetized 1 minute per nail.
