My nails look terrible. The polish and chrome seems too thick. I got them done yesterday and just noticed how clunky the polish is. Should I go back and get it redone? I only paid $65 but I feel like the polish could be a little smoother and cleaner.

You absolutely should 😭 my god thats SO much glue and clear coat (or however she stuck it on jesus christ) Not only that but get a refund while you’re at it
They look terrible. Very amateur. The acrylic is not smooth, the shaping is not consistent and too wide/bulky. Way too much glue for the charm. Looking at the thumb, I can tell it will lift as it was not properly sealed.
$65 is cheap for the length/design since chrome can be difficult to achieve. I would have taken the $65 and saved up a bit until I could find someone who could execute. People complain about the cost of nails but then go cheap and are stuck with nails they hate.
I always get a confidence boost when I look down on a set I love so I think the cost of getting nails is worth it.
I wouldn’t waste my time getting them re-done unless she can do a Gel-x set so you don’t have to worry about shaping.
