TW: mild nail damage in photo 2

I had a bad experience with an e-file that left my nails in rough shape. I was honestly heartbroken when it was over, so I chopped off all the length and went all-in on repair.

I picked up Fortifying Ridge Filler by Londontown, hoping it would help smooth out the file bit divots and heat damage. I used two coats and the results were honestly impressive. It’s not quite enough for me to go bare, but it blurred and leveled everything enough to give lacquer a much better surface to work with. I chose the petal pink shade and really like it. Not perfect, but a big improvement.

From there I went in with black, which applied smoothly and gave full coverage in one coat. I took it slow and floated the brush again. Then I added a red topper and ended up with a kind of black cherry effect… sort of 😂
