…and it’s been driving me nuts all day. A plump top coat makes it feel smooth but the dent is still visible, taunting me every time I look at my hand. I should just redo it.

I remember a time when I would redo it—these days I just put another layer of topcoat to rewet it and let it smooth out. If that doesn’t work, fck it. It takes too much effort for me to redo one nail. I’ll change it in 5-7 days anyway and I’m no less fabulous for a dent. If I’m not swatching for a brand, I leave it. Even then, sometimes I leave it because it either can’t be seen on camera or it’s a testament to how it performed under a tried and true qdtc while I slept.
Overall, do what you want.🤷🏾♀️😁

I think your mani still looks so so pretty and that dent is barely visible with the beautiful texture of the lacquer, i hate when this happens but yours is so not bad!
If its super bothering you, you could try applying top coat to see if it smooths out, I love this colour on you and you have such pretty nails!! 💕✨️

Ah, the struggle. I try not to do my manis until later in the day so while they’re drying I’m not doing much and will be sleeping soon. Then this happens to me too 😂 But I can’t do them too early because I’m trying to do a million things during the day and this happens even worse 🤷🏻♀️ I’ll echo the suggestions of another topcoat, sometimes that helps enough to be a good middle ground.

I honestly barely noticed it but noticed it more because of your arrow but I understand your frustration.
I love regular nail polish but ever since I started using gel polish it’s so hard for me to wait for regular polish to dry :/ for me, i always end up messing the polish when i need to use the bathroom and have to pull my pants down…. TMI here but I mitigate it by putting on a skirt and going commando LOL
Still, the fact that regular polish takes like 24 hrs to dry is too much for me, I don’t know how i did it before when i was younger
