As title says, Samantha march requested to follow me on instagram. For context I am a small personal private account with less than 500 followers. I follow mostly small indie creators. I know she doesn’t actually want to follow me personally, but I’m just curious. Is this a tactic that influencers use? Like maybe they spam follow everyone on their mutuals list and then mass unfollow when they get the follow back?

That’s interesting. I have no idea, but that’s interesting 🤔 “clever” tactic if that is the case.
She could have a bot that does the mass follow and unfolding thing for follow backs.
