I'm posting this here as it's not simply a vintage nail polish problem, and hoping someone else might have some experience.
I just bought these from FB Marketplace, and they, as well as the others that came in the lot, are extremely liquid and have a flowery smell. I fear that the seller added scented nail polish remover to them!
Can I let them all evaporate and then add clean thinner? Or let them be and hope for the best? What would you do?
I watched Vintage Dusties' Urban Decay Gangrene video and I'm thinking I might have to do what she did but hoping it won't come to that.🤞

If they’ve added remover to them, there isn’t much to do about the polish itself breaking down from the acetone. If you find they’re too runny, you can leave the caps off and allow them to thicken up to your liking. You likely won’t be able to get rid of the flowery smell, and they may very well be ruined by what the seller added to them.
