It's St. Paddy's weekend, and I'm in the middle of a St. Patrick's parade right now with my students, and you know your boy loves a theme design theme! 🍀 While it's more of a religious holiday in Ireland, in America its roots go back to Irish immigrants, celebrating their heritage and forming a community as they were horribly stereotyped as drunks, criminals, and unhireable aliens due to their status as immigrants…a similar pattern and story right 🤨? We are best when we share and respect each other's cultures, welcoming new ones, and building a better place for everyone. We are worse when we isolate and other those around us. So today, have some green beer, and cheers a neighbor next to you, whoever they may be. 🍀
