My brave fallen pinky nail succumbed to injury when I prevented something from falling on my sleeping hearing-impaired love of my life kitty this morning.
An evening chopping of my nails shall follow. I am actually kind of excited for shorties which I’ve not had in quite a while and are so cute!
Also included is a picture of my mommy and me manicure. Some of you might know from my posts that I’ve been finding doing my mom’s nails to feel like a sweet act of connection and service. My mom is nearly 80 and the glue of the family. And I marvel over how I have an exact copy of her hands!

Beautiful colour on you guys. I also had long nails for the last few years and had cut them short last month and am enjoying changing it up too. Nice thing is you know you can always grow them back out again when you feel like it.
