I want to make these but I don't have any good ideas on the order of things here

I tried

base + color + top

chrome + chrome top

matte top

texture

top on textures

chrome on textures + chrome top again

but its hard to get the top cleanly on the exact places I want the chrome and cleaning up the chrome from around the texture is pretty annoying. Plus the bottom chrome layer didn't come out as nice and the many layers and curing each time is bothersome

how would y'all go about doing these

bonus question, what color would look best under the first chrome layer, i tried white (too subtle) and light blue (not the exact shade i liked)

Maybe its the kind of matte tope coat you are your using for your isolated chrome. There shouldn’t be much clean up if the matte coat is not sticky. I use Gaoy Matte Top Coat from amazon, it rlly helped step up my isolated chrome game. I love doing cybercore aesthetic nails! Also, have you tried doing a nude/Pastel pink as the base color?

  2. Looks like:
Light purple base color with aurora unicorn chrome. Apply a matte top coat before doing the 3D designs.
Make the 3D designs with a no wipe 3D gel, and then apply chrome to those designs. Brush off excess chrome with a brush, and cover everything in a no wipe top coat

  3. Have you tried the tip of not using a matte top coat and instead using alcohol to remove the sticky layer? So you just use your normal glossy top coat, then wipe it down with alcohol to remove the sticky layer and do the chrome on top. Clean up the excess and then top coat it again?
