I guess if you have that type of magnet you could try it and see if you can get the effect before the polish dries.
I did this with the snazzy mag setup from jen & berries, the add on called “mini void” . To get the effect you have to spin it like you do for a glass bead. The underside of the puck looks a lot like a velvet setup but I can’t tell by looking what’s different about it that does this.
