I actually suck at a proper ombre, so I decided to go for a hand painted ombre, a hombre? honestly I really like the effect though, and feel I can improve it more with a bit of practice. For now I'm just gonna enjoy my witchy discount ombre.
done with a purple base, dropped black onto the tip of the nail, cleaned off the brush, then attempted to streak the drop of black downward, ending with adding some more black to the now streaky tip.

Hema purpalicious
Essie licorice
Holo taco glossy taco
I’m gunna be honest, it looks cool as shit like this. I would legit try to achieve this look. Also purple and black are so good together.
my next ones are going to be black to grey ombré, wish me luck lol
I absolutely love this
I really like this effect. The black is so opaque it doesn’t blend into the purple but looks like a rip or something. Very cool texture I haven’t seen before.
My forever emo ass thinks these rock- definitely not an ombré but they are sick as hell.
I like it. Looks very grungy but in a good way.
Looks amazing and fresh! Cool technique 😎
Reminds me of goosebumps, idc IDC I love it!!
It’s giving nightmare before Christmas vibes. Sally has my favorite color pattern

It’s giving Agatha Harkness I love it 💜🖤
I LOVE this!!!! The effect is so cool! 🤩 it looks intentional in a total badass style way.
And twins, I’m wearing lazy ombré but with jelly today!! 😃 I’m calling mine “drippy ombré”. It’s not that we’re bad at ombré it’s that we’re inventing new super cool techniques! 😁❤️

Honestly, I like ‘em. A lot. You did an amazing job
A “hombre” 💀
Lmao it looks cute though! Would be a great Halloween mani
I like this, but I think the key with a hand painted ombre like this is to confine the black bit to the top third of the nail.
Is this also called a lazy gradient?
Dude, I dig it! 🤘
