I've done a few birch forest nail sets before, but those were always more about the pretty backgrounds that I put the trees on. After my husband and I watched a couple camping videos on YouTube, inspo struck and I sat up on the couch immediately at 12:30am needing to paint 🤪. Birch bark is easy to mess around with while still being iconic as a visual, so it was fun to try it out more macro "zoomed in". I love the look of a temperate deciduous forest, the greenery, the MOSSES, so cozy. I used an old frayed paint brush to dab on some layers of moss over top of the bark and I already feel like a fairy in the woods!
