Does anyone know if Femme Fatale Cosmetics is closing permanently?
Their website says that they’ll be reopening the week of the 18th of February, which is this week, but they are shown as being ‘permanently closed’ on Google.
I’ve never bought from them before, but I have a voucher I’d like to use. Is anyone on their newsletter (if they have one) or has anyone heard from them about their potential permanent closure?

Oh no! I recall the owner has been unwell lately – I hope they’re okay.
On Jan 9 in the femme fatale fiends Facebook group the owner said femme fatale was closed ‘until the week of February 18th 2026’ . It says staff are on leave. So no staff to answer attempts to contact.. A google notice saying it’s closed doesn’t necessarily mean it is closed permanently, but sounds like we’ll be seeing them back soon..being a private group I figure I can’t take a screen shot but you can join the group perhaps. Hopefully they are ok.. back on October 3 last year there was a long update saying life stuff was happening, that I think means the business will be changing but it sounded to me like they were planning to continue.
My impression is they are going small indie, cutting down on preorders and all the brands- it does sound like a ton of work!
I hope they are okay and on the mend.
Pour one out for straya’s best indie supplier. First got onto Femme Fatale for the indie perfume – they really did an amazing job in incredibly difficult circumstances. Getting stuff to Australia is a logistical punish, and I salute their owner for how long they were able to keep it going and the variety they were able to source.
