I've been using Clio cushions for a long time now.
I reach for different cushions based on whether I need more coverage, want something light, or just need it to last through the day.
Each one really has its own personality, so I don't have one holy grail. It's more like a lineup where I choose what fits the mood.
My skin is normal to dry-leaning, mostly dealing with some dryness around my nose and cheeks in winter but no major acne or redness issues. I live in California where the air is pretty dry, especially indoors with AC or heating. Skin tone is fair to light. My routine is super basic: cleanser, light toner, moisturizer, then makeup. Nothing complicated.
– Clio Mesh Glow Essential
Thin application evens out my tone nicely without looking cakey. I can layer it a few times and it still looks fresh, no heavy or suffocating feel. The glow is clean and watery, not glittery or overdone. It makes my skin texture look refined and healthy in photos. Color matches well so it doesn't look separate from my neck. Feels light enough for daily wear, almost like a tinted moisturizer with better coverage.
– Clio Mesh Blur
Semi-matte/satin finish that's right in the middle, not too dewy, not fully matte. Coverage is medium but buildable if I need more. Pores and texture look softer after a few hours rather than right away, which I like. It's not thick, so it doesn't emphasize dry patches or pores. Lasts well without darkening too much. Even on oily days it doesn't get overly shiny.
– Clio Founwear
Highest coverage of the three, one layer already makes my skin look clean and even. It covers pores and spots pretty well without feeling like a mask. Finish is closer to matte and stays powdery for a long time. If I set it with powder, it holds up through oiliness without breaking down or looking patchy. The downside is that it can show texture or dry spots if my skin isn't prepped well. Better for full morning makeup than quick touch-ups, on dry days it can emphasize flakiness if I don't moisturize enough.
Overall I like having options depending on the day. Mesh Glow for light natural days, Mesh Blur for everyday balance, Founwear when I want more coverage and a long-lasting matte look.
