My mom has been giving me this pearl cream to use since I was a kid. I never gave it a second thought, but now that I’m in my mid 20s I became curious about it, and apparently it’s common for mercury to be in pearl creams :/
Does anyone have any experience with this brand in particular? The box says Yong Chin but it resembles the brand Promina as well. I looked it up online but couldn’t find anything about this exact cream, but did read some of Yong Chin’s products did have mercury so I guess I’ll stop using it :/
I read the effects of mercury poisoning and I’m kind of freaked out since I’ve been using it for so long haha but I haven’t experienced anything negative so far (thankfully). Not sure what to do from here if there is mercury!
