




My friend was getting their hair done by our other friend at the salon they work at, and I saw the salon now has a nail tech. I've been wanting to get acrylics done again, so I asked if they had a last-minute opening.
The tech was sweet and we had a good time, but I had to bring up a lot of concerns like the sides being uneven etc– now I'm really looking (excuse my friend's basement) at them — I paid $100 and tipped since they just started professionally doing nails in October. Should I ask for a refund or a redo? They're lumpy & wonky and I'm bummed out because I ALSO live like 1.5 hours away haha

Whether you want a redo or refund is up to you but i’d 100% say something. Maybe a refund since you live far away if you don’t want to take the time to go back? They are lumpy, uneven, and flooded, even if they are new charging $100 for that is unacceptable.
Yikes, this is pretty bad. I’d for sure send them photos and ask for a refund. If they are not receptive to that, I’d post them in a review. I’m sorry this was your experience.
