These are some of the skincare and makeup products I finished in 2025! I'm late with this post, I know, and I finished more but I'm relatively new to this sub so these are the ones I saved to share 😁

  • Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask: I think everyone is familiar with this product already. I personally loved it, my lips are very dry and no normal lipbalm stays on my lips for the whole night so using a mask like this one was a lifesaver! It kept my lips nice and soft and with less bits of skin peeling off when I wake up. I already found somewhat of a dupe for it, the lip sleeping mask from W7. It's cheaper and the experience using it is very similar. The only different is in application: the Laneige one is very soft while the W7 is more thick, more vaseline-like. Both smell amazingly, this berry one from Laneige was specially nostalgic for me because its scent reminded me of a yogurt I used to eat as a kid 🤭🍓

  • The Body Shop Lipbalm: I can't tell you for how many years I've had this balm sitting on my desk. For years I didn't use it because honestly it didn't feel like a balm. It was dry and wasn't moisturising at all. The smell and colour were nice though, a mix of açai, blueberry and dragonfruit… So I decided to melt it and mix it with a bit of scented vaseline I have laying around, pour it into an empty lipstick case, and it turned out to be a good everyday slightly coloured lip balm! I know it's not recommended to do this, I know it can be dangerous to mix products unknowingly, but in this case it worked out fine and allowed me to declutter my desk of this pesky little tub! The 2nd photo it's a close up of the pan, I thought showing it would be interesting as it has unusual shapes inside 🧐

  • Isdin Spot Prevent Sunscreen: A sunscreen my mum had on her cabinet that neither of us seemed to particularly enjoy wearing. My reason was because it left a white casting right after application (which, fair enough, would disappear with wear but still felt a little weird) and it was a bit greasy. This is what I call a beach sunscreen: had greasy texture with a very classic "beach" scent. I used it throughout summer, so at least the smell wasn't clashing with the season. I'm happy it's gone now and I can move on to other sunscreens. Also, just to mention that not all Isdin sunscreens are like this. I've used another one in the past (I think it was called the Magic Water?) and it was awesome! Lovely texture, no cast, pleasant beach scent 🏖️

  • Beauty of Joseon Rice Relief Sunscreen: I wasn't expecting to love this sunscreen as much as I did! I think I started using it before summer time, then I switched to the Isdin one, then after summer was gone I returned to the Beauty of Joseon to finish it up. It was so good: great non-greasy texture that would glide on my skin making it easy to apply, no white-cast, pleasant smell, high SPF protection, it has everything! Wasn't my 1st experience with korean sunscreens, I've previously used the Haru Haru Wonder Black Rice Sunscreen but that one didn't work as well with my skin. That one would make a strange effect: it would behave well on my T-zone, which is oily, but would peel weirdly on my cheeks, which are normal skin. Everything else was alright. That one I ended up using only on my T-zone, which means that I had to use another sunscreen for the rest of my face and that was a bit of an hassle. The Beauty of Joseon though, I would definitely re-purchase it ❤️

  • Essence Lash Pincess Mascara: This is the pink one. Loved this mascara, made my lashes look great and fluffy with volume! I think my lashes are somewhat naturally long so I prefer a mascara that gives volume (as in, I appear to have more lashes that I actually do) than a mascara that only lengthens the amount of lashes I have. I'm not as big of a fan of the green one, I find it lengthens more than it volumizes. This one does a phenomenal job at both! 😃

  • NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream: This is in the shade Los Angeles. I've had this lipstick for years and it finally reached its end! Barely anything comes out on the wand so I'm calling it quits. Finishing lipsticks takes way longer than I thought! I liked this one, was a nice colour that's very close to my lips natural colour, slightly drying perhaps due to being a soft matte but not as bad as a liquid lipstick.

The 2 Briogeo products: I only read I'm not supposed to mention them after I took the photo so I thought I'd leave them out of the reviews. They were both nice though, I'm still looking for a dupe for the Colour Me Brilliant because it was the best I've used for coloured hair so far and for some reason Briogeo keeps discontinuing it 😢

The 3rd photo is an honourable mention to this H&M True Matte Finishing Powder I'm trying to use up! I've reached pan a long time ago, then I forgot I had it and only recently I digged it back out! I'm set to reach full pan by the end of 2026 🤞
