I've said it a million times……I LOVE DATA. Give me a good sheet full of data points to format and analyze and I'll be set for DAYS. After the past few years of doing end of year visual recaps, and aeeing so many people track their pilish use, it'smade me want more data data behind my painting beaides just the pictures….so this is the year!
Like most new goals, I had to make sure I would ACTUALLY do it, and seeing that I loathe writing captions already, I knew I wouldn't want to type out the polishes twice…so I wrote a python code that was specifically set up for how I list my polishes in my Instagram scrapbook captions…filter put the brand and polish names, list it in a Google sheet, and tally if Ive used it more than once, while also logging the date last used. I can then go through and add the color and formula to each new one and then process it on other tabs for the pretty color coded analysis. I'm obsessed with it…but before you ask, no I can't share it because its all written specifically for my caption layout and tied to my Google sheet with automatic permissions that wouldn't copy or transfer 😝📈📉
So drumroll…..January' results!
I knew I loved and used cremes the most due to so much nail art…but the numbers this month do not lie haha, creme supremacy! I also had a huge influx of purples due to a friends birthday mani that used 17 purples lol, which no one is upset about 💜. Can't wait to see what patterns start to emerge next month! #DataSlut

24 manis in a month, all of which include nail art? You are insane in the best way, they all look so beautiful I don’t know how you have the time and patience to do it😭also, very impressive that you haven’t knocked yourself out yet with the polish fumes LMAO
Love how you visualized the data! Maybe soon you’ll have a mani calendar!
My sincerest apologies, but my edible kicked in, and as I was scrolling last this post, I did a double take and saw the number of polishes in a month thinking, “WTF? HOW???” until I happened to see the username and think: oh, that’s absolutely valid. Nothing to see here.
I always love your nail art! They for sure brighten my day and you are insanely talented!
I always love your nails! Seeing it laid out like this with 24 in one month makes me have to ask- how in the heck do you keep your nails from being a peeling breaking mess? I was painting mine a couple times a week and I felt like I had to take a break to try and figure out how to make them less destroyed. It was kind of my last ditch effort (I’ve tried everything I’ve read in this sub to improve it) and I thought maybe it’s the acetone? Do you use acetone? I don’t know what to do so I’m grasping at straws. Are your nails destroyed?
