I’ve been experimenting with making a crisscross pattern with magnetic polish and floss, and this is how my first real test turned out! Some fingers look pretty good, some look pretty muddled. I used my method for making quilted nails (paint nails normally, wait a few hours to a day, two coats of qdtc, wait a couple minutes, use floss to make lines in dentable top coat) except I replaced the first coat of qdtc with a coat of Habibi. I magnetized it straight down to make the magnetic effect completely disappear, so that when it got pushed around by the floss the sparkle would show up in just those lines. More experiments are needed to make it more reliable, and I’m curious what it would look like to do this on top of a velvet nail
