I used to be really into lip glosses and thought shiny lips automatically made makeup look better. But over time, I realized that too much shine can actually make my makeup feel a bit overdone. Glosses also tend to feel heavy on my lips, and they wear off so quickly — even when I’m just talking.

These days, I’m much more drawn to glowy lipsticks instead. I like products that add moisture and a soft sheen without making the lips stand out too much. Something that gives life to the face without looking obvious or distracting.

I recently tried a glow lipstick from a Korean makeup brand, mainly because I’d previously had a really good experience with their liquid blusher. That one had such a natural, skin-like finish that it made me curious about their lip products too.

The lipstick ended up fitting my preferences perfectly. The finish isn’t glassy or overly shiny — it just gives a subtle, healthy glow that makes the lips look smoother and more polished. The color payoff feels balanced, the formula is comfortable, and for something this moisturizing, it actually lasts better than I expected.

I’ve already repurchased it, which says a lot because I’m pretty picky with lip products. If you prefer lips that look hydrated and naturally glossy rather than bold or high-shine, this kind of glow lipstick might be worth trying.
