Ole Henriksen Pout Preserve (with cat for scale) is my only lip product purchase of 2025, and likely will be my only buy to replace in 2026 until I can pan more lip products. I opened the Citrus scent January 4, 2025 and panned on January 11, 2026.
I’m also halfway through a tube of Cocoa Crème, which is more pigmented and a good everyday lippie for me (though the scent is pretty strong and tastes like smores). Citrus is more of an orange creamsicle than actual citrus, but I don’t find it as overpowering as the others. So far Strawberry Sorbet is more of a strawberry candy than sorbet, but it’s not a super artificial strawberry, which is nice. It’s not nearly as strong as cocoa creme, but it is stronger than citrus for comparison. Of the 3, only cocoa creme has any color on my (very pale and unpigmented) lips.
It’s super thick and nourishing, and only slightly tacky which is nice for a gloss this plush. I don’t mind the slight stickiness, since it lasts through drinking and eating, and also lasts through the night as a very good lip mask. It has improved lip lines for me overall, not just when in use, and this is the first fall/winter in my 34 years of life where my lips didn’t end up chapped and cracked from cold, dry air. Dry lip folks can probably relate, but it’s such a relief to not be on the hunt for a new lip product.
