I would get it fixed at a salon if I were you, it’s usually not that expensive and will make it last a lot longer, and you won’t have to cut the rest off just because of one broken nail

Tea bag patch then a builder gel overlay with a strong apex (thicker product layer added horizontally across the stress point, aka where it broke draw an imaginary line horizontally across your nail and that’s where the apex goes)

Go to a salon and get a silk wrap put on that nail as it grows out. You’ll barely be able to tell it was ever there and can keep the length.
