Review: probably the most hydrating lip tint ever. I can’t say on the longevity or staining power of the actual tint as ave maria is basically a MLBB shade for me, but I can comment that the glossy shine stays for a good 2 ish hours. Also it’s an oily/hydrating type of formula which I have never tried with any of my other lippies. It definitely separates in the packaging but I reckon it’s because of how oily the formula is. I always try to mix the product but it still separates- it’s not a problem though it seems to still work perfectly fine, no pigmentation/ separation problems.
Ave Maria shade: starts off with a light lavender/lilac colour then oxidises to a muted mid-toned lilac pink. It does actually pull quite lavender/purple on me which I don’t particularly like but it’s the most muted “natural” looking lip tint I’ve ever tried so I’ll let it slide.
I’ve been told their darker colours stain more which is why I’m thinking of repurchasing in another colour!
Is there another colour that is the same sort of muted natural colour but slightly darker? I would love to try out a neutral cooler brown or mauve. Or if anyone has a lip shade they would recommend for a M1 Nars custard (neutral cool with slight olive overtones) let me know! I think my biggest problem with Asian beauty lippies is that they’re all way too ridiculously bright or intensely saturated. I love the look of fwee’s 30% cherry and dirty cola but I don’t live in the US 🥲.
Also just asking this as their shade swatches online seriously look nothing like irl (I also never conceal or powder my lips). Second pic is my lips with ave maria AND the repair one lip essence on top for extra hydration
